Call or Text: 907-312-2482 There are many reasons for selecting Anchorage's most trusted tree service and arbor care specialists for your project. We offer: Tree Trimming/ Tree Pruning Many homeowners mistakenly injure their trees by trimming back too much, cutting branches at the wrong spot or by topping a tree by accident. Never cut the top off of your tree – this is the most harmful thing you can do. Topping affects the ability of a tree to produce food, weakens it and makes it more susceptible to disease. Let our tree pruning service help you come up with an approach that takes both your needs and the health of your tree into consideration. That’s long-term peace of mind for you…and your trees. Tree Cutting & Tree Removal The experts at Anchorage Trusted Tree Services can cut and remove excess trees providing you with more daylight, an expanded view, and a better fire break for your home. If you’d like, we can also cut these trees into manageable lengths for use in your wood burning stove. Our tree cutting service is both affordable and efficient. Emergency Tree Removal Service Did a tree fall down on your property during a storm? Have you got a tree leaning over at a dangerous angle? We’ll respond to your tree removal emergency quickly before it has a chance to fall onto your roof, the neighbor’s fence or worse yet, the dog's house. Storm Cleanup Downed trees, fallen & broken limbs…winter chinooks, ice storms and high winds on the hillside can wreak havoc on the Anchorage bowl. And those infamous Palmer winds are known for uprooting trees with a shallow root structure. If your property is in need of storm cleanup, we’ll get out there lickety-split & cut up those tree branches, remove downed limbs and make things right again. Stump Removal - Limited Services If it's necessary to remove a tree from your property, our service will also include removing the associated stump. However, stump removal as a stand-alone service is not available at this time. Land Clearing & Brush Chipping A person can only handle so much undergrowth. Our affordable tree service includes land clearing and brush chipping. You’re welcome to keep the chips for your own use or we’ll clean everything up and haul it all away. Easy peasy. Fire Breaks - Surround Your Home with a Safe Zone Most homes in Alaska are not made of fire resistant material. Protect your family by having a proper fire break installed around the structures on your property. Arborist Consultations, Tree Disease Diagnosis, Treatment of Sick Trees Let our tree care specialists walk your property and perform an assessment. This is especially important if you have large, older trees. As older trees shed defective limbs they can leave behind breaks or cracks that allow bugs, fungus & rot to enter. Our tree doctors are up-to-date on the latest tree infections affecting Alaska and know what to look for. Early diagnosis is the best way to prevent the loss of your beloved, big ol’ daddy of a tree. Cabling & Bracing Split or weak limbs are commonly found after storms hit the area – especially ice-storms. Those big branches laden with heavy ice oftentimes split from the main trunk but don’t come completely off. Cabling and bracing are 2 means to provide structural support to weak or fatigued limbs to allow them to heal naturally. Wildlife Habitat Creation or Enhancement This is our favorite request! Our specialists clamor over the opportunity to work with you on how to attract greater numbers and more diverse wildlife to your property. Think about the kind of wildlife you’d like to attract and then give us a call. We’ll work together to craft a master plan that takes into account all types of vegetation, your specific terrain, soil content and best viewing locations for you to enjoy the show. This is gonna be fun! Call now 907-312-2482 or send us a message using the easy form to the right. Of special concern to all of us at Anchorage Trusted Tree Services is working with homeowners to recognize when their trees are sick. Do you suspect you have a sick tree? Are the leaves discolored? Does it leaf out less than it used too? The earlier you diagnose & treat your tree the better results you can expect. Here are two common tree problems in Alaska that homeowners should keep an eye out for: 1. Older cottonwoods tend to develop large dead or rotten branches at the crown. This deadwood needs to be removed before it can break off and provide an opening for wood decay fungi to set in. There’s a right way and a wrong way to remove dead branches. Don’t just climb up there and lop off a branch – you’ll do more harm than good. 2. White Spruce trees (think Spruce Bark beetle) are subject to bole breakage (the trunk snaps in half). This is often caused by heart or butt rot or internal decay. Because they’re difficult to spot, the signs of early decay & infection often go unnoticed by homeowners. Symptoms of sick trees can be difficult to spot. By the time you notice that something is wrong, it’s likely that your tree has been sick for several years. Our talented tree surgeons, working under the guidance of an experienced arborist, can walk your property and assess your trees. This service doesn’t take long and is the best thing you can do for your property. If concerns are noted, our tree doctors will work with you on a plan forward to improve their health. Don’t delay.
